One of three large-scale, temporary, creative spaces co-ordinated by Liverpool Biennial in the Liverpool neighbourhoods of Kirkdale, Garston and Kensington. Each community is programming events and activities to celebrate the possibilities offered by these dynamic spaces.
Rotunda in Kirkdale have worked with internationally acclaimed landscape architects, Gross Max, to transform a strip of derelict land outside their building into a wonderful community garden, completed by a playful and plant-filled folly. Inspired by the follies of the 18th century, this folly transforms a typical urban environment into an extraordinary and surprising landscape. The gardens contain spaces for activities and events throughout the year.
Rotunda Pavilion is open to the public daily.
