FACT
FACT

Situated right in heart of the city centre, FACT is a unique and exciting building with plenty on offer for everyone. Inside our bright and spacious building you will find three gallery spaces featuring ever-changing exhibitions and a continuous programme of family workshops so you can play and learn together.

We also house three state-of-the-art cinema screens and The Box, where you can watch a film screening or attend an event from the comfort of a sofa. There are regular screenings designed
especially for kids or parents with babies and plenty of information on the films in our brochure so you know what to expect.

Our bright and friendly café serves a range of fresh sandwiches, soup, salads, cakes, hot drinks and juices to keep your whole family fed and watered, and staff will happily heat up any baby food or milk and serve child-sized portions on request. Don't forget to let us know if you would like a highchair for your little one and feel free to ask for a take-away tea or coffee from the bar or coffee and enjoy it while you watch your film.

Pick up our regular brochures and keep your eyes and ears peeled for events such as book groups, special screenings and activity days.

We can’t provide official child care, but we take special precautions to ensure that we create a fun and safe environment for a younger audience. There are even more of our friendly staff ready to help and we won’t permit anyone over the age of 18 into the screening unless they’re accompanying a child. (Children under eight must be accompanied).

Annual membership is just £4.00, and tickets are £3.00 for members, and £4.00 for non-members – perfect pocket money prices! Accompanying adults can watch for FREE.

Autism-Friendly Screenings

We understand that it’s not always easy to find suitable activities for children and teenagers with autism, which is why we offer autism-friendly screenings with reduced volume and increased lighting. Family, friends and carers are very welcome too. For information on how to arrange a screening please email tony.s@picturehouses.co.uk
