With everything from Rock‘n’Roll pantomimes and multimedia performances, to captivating fairytales and favourite childrens’ characters, the Everyman has something on offer for big kids, little kids and the young at heart.
Working alongside sister theatre The Playhouse, we aim to involve and inspire with audiences of all ages.
Children and teens will be spellbound, watching stories coming to life before their eyes, and are offered the chance to step into the world of theatre through our fantastic programme of accompanying workshops and master classes.
We provide great ticket offers for families and children, along with matinee shows and earlier start times when we are expecting a younger audience with sensible bedtimes.
As each season brings a host of well known, and brand new productions to the theatre, be sure to keep up to date with what’s coming soon by picking up a brochure or visiting our website, where we provide plenty of accompanying information and age suitability guidelines.
Youth Theatre:
If they’ve already caught the theatre bug, have the tendency to be a bit of a drama queen or if their confidence needs a boost, our Youth Theatre is the place to be. First founded in the mid-seventies, the Youth Theatre has been the starting point in the careers of many successful actors, musicians, writers and theatre practitioners. Recently reborn following the re-opening of the theatres, the Youth Theatre has taken to the Everyman stage once again and continues to offer a fantastic and enriching experience for local young people aged 13 – 20.

Youth Forum:
For young theatre lovers, the Youth Forum is the ideal place to keep us informed about what they would like to see in our programme. We want to hear fresh ideas from the next generation of theatre audiences and offer exclusive back stage access, tickets, and invitations to meet with theatre professionals to get them the best experience possible whilst making sure their voice is heard.
For more information about the Youth Forum, contact Laura Arends on 0151 706 9106 or email l.arends@everymanplayhouse.com.
Education and Community:
With a range of workshops, discussions and master classes, each season at the Everyman and Playhouse sees a tailored programme of events which allows young minds to become immersed in the action, and explore performances beyond the stage itself, and often into the local community.
