The Bluecoat, slap bang in the middle of Liverpool’s bustling City Centre, is a honeycomb of gardens and galleries, indoor and outdoor performance spaces, shops and places to eat for your family to explore.
The Bluecoat is well loved both as a building of huge historical importance and a place to experience visual art, music, literature, dance and design.
The Bluecoat is the ideal place for families to explore, eat, learn, shop, relax, play…be.
There are specially designed family activities to do while you explore the gallery, the garden and the rest of the historic building.

Reviews of the Bluecoat:
"... my wife and children (11, 8 and 4) went to the Bluecoat, having read about it on your website. We were very glad we did. The markets stalls and shops were interesting and the stall holders friendly and ready to explain something of their work.
The exhibition was interesting and accessible to all ages and the children's activity was simple but inspired as it gave all 3 children the opportunity to use their imagination and create something unique to them. While all this was going on we were able to enjoy the music of a harpist.
All in all a successful and fun visit for the whole family."
